Dear Members,
The following is a summary of our understanding of current building
restrictions during the coming holiday periods (1 July- 31 August).
Any building work has to comply with noise control regulations applicable
and can only be carried out during permitted hours, which are:-
Daily from 08.00 – 13.00 and 15.00 – 18.00.
In a change to previous years heavy machinery can also now be used in July
and August, from 08.00 – 14.00. To be clear our understanding is that the
use of heavy machinery is restricted to these times (08.00 – 14.00) for the
period 1 May – 31 October.
Any work outside these hours, Sundays or Bank Holidays is forbidden except
if there is a specific licence to do so (dangerous /urgent repairs).
