At last the demolition of the horrendous development known as the ‘Adea Turística’ between Cala Llonga and La Mola has been approved by the Mahón Town Hall. The cost will be met by the bank BBVA, who are the current owners of the complex and land.
The demolition work should take no longer than 6 months from now, but the closest neighbours will be consulted regarding the schedule so that there is minimum disturbance during the summer months. The owners’ plan is to eventually redevelop the area into no more than 15 holiday houses for bank employees.
